Grit: Ohmni Telepresence Robot Featured in Short Film entry to Focus on Ability
Ohmni telepresence robot was featured in Sydney Children's Hospital School's entry into the Focus on Ability short film festival. Focus on Ability is an Australian film festival run by
NOVA Employment, a not-for-profit disability employment agency funded by the Australian Government who find people with disabilities award wage work of their choice.
"Grit" shows what it's like for a child seriously ill in hospital, what they miss out on, and the demands on their parents. The difference for this child is that they have access to education through their Ohmni telepresence robot. It's a wonderful demonstration of the ways this incredible technology can help solve disadvantage in the education and hospital settings.
